Agency Mission

The South Central Training Consortium, Inc., is a non-profit organization whose mission is to accomplish four main objectives: 1) to work with families and individuals residing in South Los Angeles and surrounding areas, so that they may live happier and more productive lives; 2) to offer future mental health professionals the opportunity to learn and provide clinical services to this population; 3) to provide mental health services to clients of other non-profit agencies; and 4) to provide clinical field training sites for graduate psychology programs. SCTC is dedicated to culturally appropriate psychological assessment and treatment of diverse, low-income populations, as well as providing culturally relevant training for future mental health professionals interested in the study of this population.
