Agency Description:

Discovery Counseling Center is a non-profit mental health agency in central Contra Costa County. Staff and trainees and interns provide mental health counseling as well as school-based counseling to the residents of the San Ramon Valley and beyond. In addition, the agency provides other educational services to the community. The agency works from an integrative model, providing both long and short-term counseling to clients.

Agency Mission:

To enhance the well being and quality of life for individuals and families in the greater San Ramon Valley by: -Providing affordable, high-quality mental health through clinic and school-based counseling. -Promoting family bonding and healthy communication through education and outreach.

Our staff is mostly integrative to meet the needs of the client population. Tendency is to utilize CBT, Psychodynamic, Family Systems, and Solution-Focused approaches.
