Details and requirements of funding and benefits:

The Kaiser Permanente Internships in Clinical Psychology are temporary, benefited positions. Doctoral interns are considered non-exempt (hourly) employees of Kaiser Foundation Hospital/HealthPlan. Medical and dental benefits are provided during the training year. Each intern receives 80 hours of paid time off (PTO) and also receive pay for holidays that occur during the training year. PTO will soon increase to 120 hours annually. Interns are also eligible to receive 8 hours of paid time off to attend their doctoral dissertation defense. Tuition reimbursement benefits are available to trainees to cover approved continuing education trainings and examination preparation materials. Professional liability insurance is provided to interns during the training year.
