Please describe your objective in training Predoctoral interms. Please include a brief description of your training program and how it fits within the goals or mission of your agency:

The educational and training objectives are based on (1) gaining comprehensive experience on working with individuals and families with a history of abuse and trauma; learn about trauma and its short and long-term impact on individuals, families, and the community; (2) instructing on and assisting them with implementation of evidence-based practices/interventions that are effective in treating the problems commonly associated with trauma; (4) increase their abilities to assess, monitor, and document client functioning/progress; (5) increase their ability to complete a comprehensive risk assessment and determine safety plan; and (6) increase their ability to collaborate with other professionals.

If applicable, describe in detail how the internship training differs from practicum training:

Interns carry a larger caseload, have a wider variety of clients, and receive more extensive training and supervision that practicum students.
