Describe the interview process for your agency (individual or group interview, role playing required, case presentation required, etc):

Interviews will be held by one or more of the primary supervisors individually for the first round. The applicants that proceed to the second round of interviews may then go through an individual or a group process where specific vignettes will be given to the applicants to apply their understanding of case formulation and ethics, as well as their diagnostic and note writing skills for this population.

Describe what you are looking for in an applicant:

Applicants will need to exhibit a high sense of commitment to ethics, professionalism and personal responsibility, as well as the ability to tolerate the challenges imposed by the delivery of psychological services within residential care settings. Applicants will need to be flexible with scheduling, self-driven, motivated, highly committed, consistent and reliable. Furthermore, the agency emphasizes the importance of developing a collaborative, supportive environment among the interns and the supervisors. EBWS is a person-oriented site not only in terms of the client population, but also in terms of the interns. We place a lot of importance in creating a team spirit with all of our collaborators and an environment where topics of vulnerability and counter-transference are openly discussed in both individual and group supervision.
