Research

Does the internship include opportunities for research activities?: Yes

Details of research possibilities:

There are many interesting research opportunities since we have hundreds of adolescents with many different issues. The STAT-Team is very supportive of intern research and always has good suggestions. Several of our interns have done their dissertations by gathering data on our kids. Please explore these issues soon after you have started your internship. Seek out Probation to make application and receive approval for your disertation data collection. San Diego County HHSA also has its internal IRB-like process that interns doing reseach go through.
