At least two references should be able to attest to your clinical skills (e.g., clinical supervisor). Required/Desired Experience (e.g., specific populations, testing, etc):

Predoctoral Intern Prerequisites: Applicants must be graduates of an accredited program, and have completed all college/unversity internship-ready requirements prior to beginning their pre-doctoral internship. Applicants to our pre-doctoral internship training program should have previous graduate coursework and/or practicum/training experience in the administration of psychological, psychoeducational, and/or neuropsychological assessment measures; providing direct therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents, young adults, and primary caregivers; and experience working with multiple clients at a time (e.g. couple, family, group).

Letter of intent content (submitted to CAPIC as part of the complete student application to internship):

It is requested that the letter of intent include: -Training goals -Previous experience -Why applicant believes they are qualified to be a fellow at Learning Dynamics -Why applicant believes Learning Dynamics would be beneficial in meeting their training goals -Information on any experience with assessment or treatment of individuals with high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, and perinatal challenges.

Please briefly describe the clinical and educational experience necessary to be considered for acceptance into your training program:

Doctoral student that is cleared for internship in psychology from accredited program. Assessment experience is required for applicants wanting to conduct assessments as part of their training The following qualifications are beneficial, but not required: parent education experience, behavioral analysis coursework/fieldwork, social skills group facilitation, public speaking, fluency in Spanish.

Applicants interview with at least two staff members. Interviews are conducted virtually.

In addition to the qualifications previously mentioned, we are looking for applicants who have the ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing; are self-motivated, hard-workers that are comfortable working independently and as a member of a team; and trainees that sincerely want to hone their clinical skills to better serve their community.
