Extensive education/training in working with a population that has developmental disabilities and major mental illness (schizophrenia, depression, anxiety disorders, etc.) is provided. Life Skills Treatment Program. Providing training to psychology interns in working with a very challenging population in a milieu treatment setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS OF PREDOCTORAL INTERNS:

Predoctoral interns ae responsible for providing individual and group therapy, conducting behavioral observations, writing special incident reports, writing individualized treatment plans, writing progress notes, participating in individual and group supervision, participating in case conferences, treatment meetings, and other educational meetings/lectures.
