Agency Description:

Vantage Point Center for Psychotherapy is a community group therapy practice that works with a diversity of presenting problems and also has specialists in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OCD), Eating Disorders, Trauma/PTSD, Psychosis, Relationship Issues. We welcome diversity of sexual orientation, gender, SES, and race. We work with people across the lifespan with a majority being teens and adults, individually and in groups. At Vantage Point, we believe that each individual is unique and valuable. We strive to provide the best therapeutic care available by using an individualized, empirically- supported, compassionate, and comprehensive approach to treating our clients. Our goal is to deeply understand each client's needs and to provide ethical and customized treatment plans to help our client's heal, find balance, and to have fulfilling relationships and lives. Our training program is an extension of our center where we value diversity, education, and training and want to install that in the next generation of therapists. Our interns are a big part of our organization which better allows us to provide care to people throughout our community who might not receive the care.

Our mission is to provide ethical, culturally competent services to people in the Sacramento region and beyond including difficult to treat and specialized populations. It also includes training thoughtful, competent clinicians of the future.

Our staff are diverse in their theoretical orientation and specialty expertise. In general we offer a relational, psychodynamic therapy model utilizing CBT, DBT, ERP, and ACT.
