Though covered earlier, there are specific scheduling factors to keep in mind: The mandatory Counseling Skills Training Course is scheduled for Fridays for the first 12 weeks of the training as is supervision. Thus, those applying must be available on Fridays to participate in this mandatory training course and supervision. Individual supervisors are available on Weds. and Fridays. Some flexibility in the intern's schedule is appreciated as supervisors have limited time slots available. The majority of clients are available in evenings and weekends, thus as part of the scheduled hours at the clinic, interns commit to at least one weekend day as well as an evening to meet with clients.
