Home Start works with clients from all age groups in the outpatient, sliding scale fee for service clinic. The sliding scale fees start at $20 per session. In the home and school-based settings, children and adolescents (as well as their families) are primarily served. The majority of these youth have experienced physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, domestic violence and/or neglect. The majority of clients are from San Diego's under-served and economically disadvantaged populations.
