The James Goodrich Whitney Clinic was established over 50 years ago to serve the San Francisco Bay area. We offer low fee services to adults of who are unable to afford standard fees but are interested in longer-term depth psychotherapy informed by Jungian theory.Agency Mission
Training for professionals seeking certification as Jungian analysts; Education: provide public programs and information services about Jungian psychology; provide affordable in-depth psychotherapy to community; and to provide predoctoral and MFT intern training in the low fee clinic (supervised by analysts).Population

Average caseload of 12. Weekly: Two hour case conference; 2 hours didactic seminar; 2 hours of intake assessment; 50-60% direct patient contact. 2-3 hours of individual supervision. Community meeting half hour.Prerequisites
Required/Desired Experience:
Prefer some experience with substance abuse, trauma, dual diagnosis, adult population, severe disturbance.Brief Description of Requirements:
Prior clinical experience in inpatient or outpatient settings. It is recommended that interns be in psychotherapy or analysis.Application Procedures

We select some applicants for interview from all applications received. Applicants are interviewed individually by a selection committee of 4-5 analysts.What we are looking for:
Someone interested in analytical and depth psychology. Someone with an interest in Jung. Someone in their own personal therapy (does not have to be with a Jungian Analyst).Additional application docs required (if any)
