Multicultural Training

Describe opportunities for multicultural training:

RBHC has a diverse, multicultural, socio-economic population. Throughout the program, trainees will be provided a minimum of three hours of training, specific the multicultural issues present within the population. Trainees are also encouraged to seek out external didactic training and readings in this area. In addition, multicultural issues are addressed in group and individual supervision on an ongoing basis. Primary supervisors have extensive experience working with this specific population and have developed competencies in this area. The senior facility staff share this competency and experience and work collaboratively with the psychology team. The annual Outcome Management Report reflects the success the treatment program has achieved in addressing issues in diversity by emphasizing the ongoing consistency of positive discharges regardless of demographic grouping.
