RBHC's population consists of adult male and female patients, aged 18-64, of various ethnicities, and sexuality orientations who are diagnosed with major mental health disorders (i.e., Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder). Many patients have co-occuring substance use disorders. The patients are generally publicly or privately conserved due to being "gravely disabled". RBHC is a locked psychiatric, skilled nursing treatment facility.
